I started running the summer going into my freshman year of high school. I got into it almost by accident, my soon to be high school P.E. teacher approached me in the halls my 8th grade year and asked me to come out for the cross country team, a sport I had never heard of. He made sure to add the fact that he would be my high school PE teacher and PE could become pretty hard. I decided to go out for the team and fell in love with the sport instantly. Running has since become a constant in my life from moving from one country to another and changing schools. It has allowed me to meet wonderful and diverse people and to travel. I am proud to be a part of the running community and especially proud to represent Running Etc. as a team ambassador.
