Registration Details: Participants are encouraged to register for the race or pick up their race packets on Friday, May 4th from 3 until 6 PM at Running Etc. (Virginia Beach) to avoid waiting in line and delays on race morning.

Event Details: EQUI-KIDS Therapeutic Riding Program along with the Primrose School is proud to announce the 15th Annual 5K Cross Country Run will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018. They would like to invite you to challenge yourselves and put together a group to run together in this family friendly, fun and lively event.

The EQUI-KIDS 5k offers something for every member of the family (even the four-legged ones), this event continues to grow in popularity. With one of the few cross-country courses in Hampton Roads, the EQUI-KIDS 5K is hosted and run on their private 92-acre property in Virginia Beach. The event also features a 1 Mile Run with the Hounds for runners to hit the trails with their dog, and a 1/2 Mile Pony Run just for children. This year they anticipate 500 participants to be in attendance.

EQUI-KIDS Therapeutic Riding Program improves our riders' quality of life through equine-based therapy in partnership with the horse. Utilizing the movement of the horse, our Therapists and Therapeutic Riding Instructors provide services to children and adults with physical, mental and social/emotional and learning disabling conditions to help them reach their full potential.
