Registration and Packet Pick-Up

Registration Details: Participants are encouraged to register for the race or pick up their race packets on Friday, May 12th from 2 until 7 PM at Running Etc. (Virginia Beach) to avoid waiting in line and delays on race morning.

Event Details: The FARA Feast 5kRun will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017. They would like to invite you to challenge yourselves and put together a group to run together in this family friendly, fun and lively event.

Flip Flop 1 mile is a beautiful 1 mile leisure walk, jog, or run along the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Participants will receive a finish line lei, finisher medal, and free access to the post-race Tailgate Beach Party to include live music, food & beverage vendors, snow cone stations, parrot head best dress competition, raffle prizes, and more! The Flip Flop 1 mile is an untimed fun run.

Lei Day 5k is a beautiful 3.1 mile walk/run along the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. The course will be timed by the Tidewater Striders.  Placement plaques will be awarded to the overall top 3 male and female winners and placement medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female age division winners. All Lei Day 5k participants will receive a finish line lei, finisher medal, and free access to the post-race Tailgate Beach Party to include live music, food vendors, snow cone stations, parrot head best dress competition, raffle prizes, and more!

Virtual Luau Fun Run- If you can't attend the FARA FEST event? No worries!  You can run your own personal luau fun run (anytime/any place). All Virtual Luau Fun Run Registrants will receive a free event t-shirt, race bib, finish line lei, and finisher medal. Race items will be mailed out after the event date and will only be mailed to locations in the U.S.A. All Virtual Luau Fun Run proceeds benefits the Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA).
