Topic: Dry needling - Muscular pain associated with trigger points is a common occurrence in runners. Dry needling is a treatment method used to treat trigger points using a solid, filiform needle. In this seminar I will review dry needling theory, indications and demonstrate trigger point dry needling.

Bio: Come join, T.J. Stites, PT, DMT, FAAOMPT director of PIVOT Physical Therapy's clinic in Norfolk, as he will discuss practical solutions for keeping endurance athletes on the road and out the doctor's office. Drawing from his personal experience as an endurance athlete and his 17 years as a physical therapist, he will discuss topics that will help keep endurance athletes training and reduce down-time from injuries.
